Call for Nominations Chamber Board of Directors

Tofino-Long Beach Chamber of Commerce
There are four (4) positions available on the TLBCC board for 2018-19 (a two-year term position). The board meets monthly (except for January, July and August) to fulfill the purpose of the Chamber of Commerce and to execute its strategic plan, as well as to deal with business as it arises.
Eligibility:
Nominees must be members in good standing of the TLBCC in one of the following categories: tourism, non-tourism, non-profit, artisan, or non-profit categories.

Please submit the nomination form by 5pm on February 23rd, 2017 (email info@tofinochamber.org for a copy of the form). The board of directors will review the nominations and circulate them to the membership by email for voting if necessary (if the number of nominees exceeds the number of positions available, an electronic election will be held). Winners will be announced at the TLBCC/Tourism Tofino Annual General Meeting, scheduled for March 27th from 6-8pm.

- Attendance at a minimum of 6 board meetings per year (includes Annual General Meeting)
- Two organizational functions per year (excluding the AGM) ie. Chamber luncheon, Business Excellence Awards, Business After Business, Mayor’s Breakfast, etc.
- Participation on board committee and/or task force as required and available
