Wheels of Hope Community Connector Volunteer
WHY WE NEED YOU At the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS), volunteers supporting outreach are vital because many everyday Canadians aren’t aware of the services and information available through CCS. Community Connectors are volunteers who represent CCS in each community, promoting our mission volunteer roles and programs we offer to the community. As a member of the Mission team, you’ll work in collaboration with the Mission staff and other volunteers to help ensure the diverse communities in BC interior

Wheels of Hope Volunteer Driver
This is an important leadership role. We ask that you dedicate one day weekly or biweekly. We can accommodate those who are able to give a few days a month or during through the year (i.e. summer months, winter months). You will be driving people to their cancer treatment appointments to Nanaimo and be reimbursed 45 cents per kilometer.
