We invite you all to the Ucluelet and Area Child Care Society’s Annual General Meeting, next Wednesday June 4^th, 4pm at the Ucluelet Community Centre.  We are combining the brief meeting with a party/fundraiser in celebration of a great milestone for Economic Development in our community; we are now officially part of the $10 a Day Childcare BC Program! There will be performances by the children in our 4 programs, hot dogs for sale, Open House and art sale at the Ucluelet Children’s Centre. We hope you can join the fun! 

We are still seeking a few volunteers to help out with the bbq.  If you are interested please reach out to Natasha Barnard at director@uclueletchildcare.ca

We are ALSO seeking community-minded individuals to join our Board of Directors. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute your skills, vision, and leadership to help shape the future of our organization.

We are looking for individuals who:

·       Believe in our mission and values

·       Bring diverse perspectives and lived experiences

·       Have experience or interest in areas such as governance, finance, fundraising, policy, community development, non-profit management, or Early Childhood Education.

·       Are willing to commit time, energy, and expertise to advancing our goals

Board Member Responsibilities:

·       Attend monthly board meetings

·       Participate in strategic planning and decision-making

·       Serve on committees or working groups as needed

·       Act as an ambassador for the society in the community
