Truth and Reconciliation Day March to Tin Wis and Lunch
On Behalf of the Tla-o-qui-aht Ha'wiih Council and Residential Team.
Our plan to paddle to Tofino with our Survivors from Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation to Tofino from the former residential school known as Kakawis on Meares Island at 10 am, then a march from Tofino to Tin Wis.
With that being said we are reaching out to local businesses to help feed our delegation and ask restaurants and businesses to have soup and sandwiches ready by 12 pm and brought to Tin Wis. Or if you have monetary contributions that can go towards our dinner caterings, that would also be super helpful.
