The 3rd Annual Sandcastle Competition takes place Sunday, August 31 at Cox Bay, with all proceeds supporting the Tofino Recreation Department’s Kids Access Fund, which provides bursaries for child and youth recreation programs. Registration opens at 8:30 am on the beach in front of Long Beach Lodge ($25 entry, cash or e-transfer), with building from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, followed by judging, food, live music, and prizes.
